Visoid secures $2.5M to expand architectural visualisation platform

Norwegian AI startup Visoid has raised $2.5 million in a seed round led by Skyfall Ventures, with participation from Farvatn Venture and byFounders Angel Collective, alongside existing investors StartupLab, OBOS, and Antler. The company previously raised €700,000 in 2025 from StartupLab, Antler, OBOS, and other investors.

  • Founded in 2023 by Mark Szoke and Joachim Holwech, Visoid develops AI-powered software that transforms existing architectural 3D models into high-quality visualisations within minutes. The platform enables architects to explore and iterate on design concepts while preserving the original design intent.
  • Unlike general-purpose AI image generators, Visoid works directly with existing architectural models and workflows, allowing users to test different visual concepts without rebuilding their designs from scratch.
  • The company says its platform has been used by architects in 120 countries, with more than 5 million renders created to date. Its customers range from individual practices to large architecture and engineering firms, including OMA and Sweco.

Details of the deal

  • Visoid will use the new funding to expand its engineering, product, and commercial teams, develop new AI capabilities for architectural workflows, grow its international customer base, and strengthen partnerships with architecture and design firms.
