Opply raises $7.5M to expand its agentic AI platform for CPG brands

London-based Opply, an AI-powered operating platform for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands, has raised $7.5 million in a funding round led by Chalfen Ventures, with participation from Index Ventures, Anthemis, Entrepreneurs First, In This Together and Ventures Together.

  • Founded in 2021 by Helen Murphy and Martin Postel, Opply develops an agentic AI platform that automates operational processes for CPG businesses, including sourcing, procurement, financing, inventory management and supply chain operations.
  • Its platform, Opply Brain, combines AI agents, proprietary data and a supplier network to execute tasks across the supply chain, from supplier negotiations to deliveries.

"Our AI technology doesn't just tell brands what needs to be done. It does the work, managing everything from sourcing and procurement to payments and supply chains," claims Helen Murphy, co-founder and CEO of Opply.

  • The company reported a 15-fold increase in gross revenue over the past 12 months. Since launching its US operations in 2025, its American business has grown 30-fold, driven by demand from brands seeking to reduce costs and streamline operations.
  • The company’s customers include UK drinks brand Agua de Madre and US kombucha producer RMBR. According to Opply, its technology has helped customers reduce costs by up to 40% and achieve a 12-fold return on investment within 12 months.

Details of the deal

  • The fresh capital will support Opply’s global expansion and help bring its AI-powered platform to more CPG brands, suppliers and manufacturers.
