UK's firm Infrawatch lands $3M to build internet infrastructure intelligence layer

London-based Infrawatch has raised a $3 million pre-seed round co-led by Outward VC and Triple Point Ventures, with participation from Portfolio Ventures and a group of fintech and cybersecurity angel investors.

  • Launched in 2026 by Lloyd Davies, Infrawatch develops an infrastructure intelligence platform designed to help security, fraud, and investigations teams detect and respond to malicious online infrastructure.
  • The system aggregates data from multiple large-scale internet intelligence sources into a single environment and continuously analyzes signals such as domains, IP ranges, hosting patterns, and related infrastructure activity.
  • The platform processes large volumes of global network events in real time and applies detection rules and classification models to identify suspicious infrastructure as it emerges.
  • This enables users to investigate and act on potential threats such as cyberattacks, fraud operations, phishing campaigns, and online scams before they are fully operational at scale.

Details of the deal

  • With the fresh capital raised, the startup plans to accelerate development of its platform ahead of launch, grow its engineering and research teams, roll out early enterprise deployments, and support its expansion into the United States.

"While AI lowers the bar to carrying out cyber crime and drives up attack volumes, attackers at scale still depend on infrastructure to operate. We think Infrawatch offers the very best solution for society's critical organisations to identify, understand, and disrupt that infrastructure," claims Sam Stone, an investor at Triple Point Ventures.
