Los Angeles, Belgrade, and Singapore-based Forty.5 Ventures has launched with a $30 million first fund to invest in pre-seed and seed-stage startups across Southeastern Europe, with selective investments in the US and Asia Pacific, as Vestbee was informed.
- Founded in 2020, Forty.5 Ventures operates as both a venture studio and VC firm. Its F5V Build platform works with founders at the idea stage, while F5V Capital invests in pre-seed and seed startups.
- The firm provides selected F5V Build founders with up to $1 million in product, infrastructure, and service credits.
- Its portfolio includes qooob, an AI-native growth studio; OTLRS, a payments infrastructure and AI platform; GetStuffDone, an AI operating system for SMEs; and sports-focused startups Sportfolio Group and Arena+.
- The fund will write initial checks of $200,000 to $1 million across vertical AI, fintech, cybersecurity, gaming, sports, media, entertainment, and creator-economy infrastructure. Forty.5 Ventures will lead or co-lead rounds and plans to support founders through product development, hiring, and future fundraising.
- The fund is backed by family offices, angel investors, entrepreneurs, and operators across Europe, the US, and Asia Pacific. Forty.5 Ventures plans to launch a second fund focused on follow-on and Series A investments.
“A first fund is bought with belief, not track record. We’re grateful to the family offices, angels, and operators who backed us before there was anything to point to. That trust is the whole foundation of this firm, and we intend to return it many times over,” claims Zoran Vasiljev, Founding Partner at Forty.5 Ventures.
