Berlin-based Synthflow secures $7.4M for AI voice assistance platform development

Berlin-based startup Synthflow has secured $7.4 million for its AI voice assistance platform development. The investment was led by Singular, with participation from existing investor and business angels.

  • Founded in 2023 by Hakob Astabatsyan and Sassun M, Synthflow offers a no-code platform designed to transform customer service. With Synthflow, businesses can create AI voice assistants that automate customer interactions and handle appointment bookings in real-time. 
  • The startup’s technology allows calls to be managed automatically, efficiently initiating actions and completing tasks without needing human input. According to Synthflow, its platform aims to streamline workflows, boost customer engagement, and improve operational efficiency using AI.
  •  Initially targeting English-speaking markets, Synthflow has expanded its platform to include German and French language versions, aiming to strengthen its presence in European markets. To date, the startup claims to serve 1,000 customers.

Details of the deal 

  • The fresh funding was led by Singular, a London-based venture capital firm that invests in European software founders and proactively helps them grow in the US. 

“We are excited to support the company's vision to democratise access to cutting-edge AI voice technology, enabling seamless customer interactions for small businesses,” Singular team, commented on LinkedIn. 

  • Existing investor, Berlin-based VC Atlantic Labs, and several investors from the AI field, including the founders of Krisp AI, also joined the round.
  • The team plans to invest new funding in R&D to maintain its early momentum by enhancing product utility and expanding its appeal to SMEs.
