TaskHer raises £650k to expand platform connecting homeowners with verified tradeswomen

UK-based TaskHer has secured £650,000 in funding from Trust for London, Resolution Ventures, Ufi Ventures, and Second Century Ventures through its REACH UK programme, with additional participation from angel investors from Daring Capital, as Vestbee was informed.

  • Established in 2022 by Anna Moynihan and Paul Moynihan, TaskHer develops an online platform that connects homeowners and organisations with verified tradeswomen for home maintenance and repair services.
  • The platform allows users to select a service, receive a quote, and book a verified tradeswoman through an online process. TaskHer also works to increase the participation of women in skilled trades by improving access to employment opportunities and supporting a more diverse workforce in the sector.
  • TaskHer currently connects more than 4,000 customers with verified tradeswomen across London, offering services including plumbing, electrical work, heating, and other home maintenance solutions.

Details of the deal

  • With the fresh capital, the startup aims to scale its platform, expand partnerships with housing associations, women’s refuges, and letting agencies, enhance its technology, and grow its network of verified tradeswomen.
