Paris-based Samp secures €6M to expand its "Shared Reality" solution globally

Paris-based deep tech startup Samp, which develops an AI-generated digital twin solution that continuously monitors sensitive industrial sites, has secured €6 million in funding to expand its "Shared Reality" solution globally. The new funding came from Promus Ventures, Kvanted, INNOVACOM, and HTGF (High-Tech Gründerfonds).

  • Founded in 2019 by Shivani Shah and Laurent Bourgouin, Samp develops a patented AI and 3D streaming technology to generate digital twins and optimize the management of existing industrial infrastructures.
  • Digital twins provide a precise 3D view of industrial infrastructures through image captures, enabling informed decisions before inspection, maintenance, or modification.
  • The startup's solution has been adopted by prominent industry leaders, including Engie, SUEZ, VEOLIA, Teréga, Trapil, and SFDM.

  • With the raised capital, Samp plans to expand its workforce, particularly by building a sales team in France and Europe. Additionally, the company will continue its R&D efforts in AI and 3D developments while preparing for international expansion.
