Paris-based edtech Revyze, which develops an AI-powered learning platform that provides students with access to verified short videos and quizzes created by their peers to enhance their educational experience, has raised $6 million in a seed funding round led by Speedinvest and Moonfire, with support from several business angels. The capital raised will be used to grow its workforce.
- Founded in 2022 by Guillaume Perrot, Anatole Blanc, and Florent Sciberras, Revyze offers an AI-powered learning platform that democratizes access to education by offering verified short videos and quizzes created by peers.
- To date, the startup has assisted over 400,000 students in France and has recently expanded into the USA, focusing on SAT, AP, and college entrance tips. Often referred to as the "TikTok of education," Revyze aims to be the ultimate learning companion for Gen Z.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was led by Speedinvest, a Vienna-based venture capital firm that manages over €1 billion in assets, and London-based VC Moonfire.
- Several business angels joined the round, including Ilkka Paananen, Sebastian Knutsson, Riccardo Zacconi, and Nickey Skarstad along with STATION F, Motier Ventures, and the design fund Ligature.
