Dutch startup Perciv AI, which develops AI-powered perception solutions using next-generation radars for various fields, has secured €2.5 million in a seed funding round to transform and democratize radar perception for autonomous systems. The round was led by DayOne Capital and Keen Venture Partners.
- Perciv AI was founded in 2022 by Balazs Szekeres, Andras Palffy, and Srimannarayana Baratam. The firm uses AI-driven radar and radar-camera fusion technology to provide reliable environmental perception for automated systems, robots, and vehicles.
- The technology works across various radar types, ranges, and use cases, offering performance comparable to LiDAR at a lower cost.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was led by DayOne Capital, a venture capital firm that supports early-stage deep tech startups, and Amsterdam-based Keen Venture Partners.
