Berlin fintech firm NexDash, which powers AI-driven electric freight networks, has raised €5 million in a seed funding round led by Extantia Capital with support from Clean Energy Ventures, backing the launch of Europe’s first Neo-Carrier, a fully electrified, digitally orchestrated freight network for zero-emission logistics.
- Established in 2025 by Michael Cassau, NexDash is a logistics technology company developing a fully electrified and AI-enabled freight infrastructure.
- The firm builds and operates electric truck fleets, integrates them with an AI-based operating system called NexOS, and provides embedded financing solutions through a Trucking-as-a-Service platform.
- NexOS coordinates fleet operations, energy management, and financial processes in real time, enabling small and mid-sized logistics carriers to transition from diesel to zero-emission electric vehicles.
Details of the deal
- The investment was backed by Extantia, a Berlin-based VC focusing on early-stage climate-tech startups driving decarbonization, and Clean Energy Ventures, a global climate-tech investor supporting deep-tech companies with high emissions-reduction potential.
- With the fresh capital raised, the startup plans to acquire mid-sized logistics operators, deploy early electric trucks, build out charging infrastructure, and continue developing NexOS, their AI-based operating system.
