Swiss startup Lyfegen, which offers software for managing drug pricing and rebates in healthcare, has secured €5.6 million in a Series A funding round led by TX Ventures, with support from aMoon. The funding will enable the startup to expand globally and enter new markets.
- Launched in 2018 by Girisha Fernando, Leon Rebolledo, Michel Mohler, and Nico Mros, lyfegen develops rebate management software for the healthcare industry, designed to streamline the management of drug pricing agreements, optimize rebates, and improve operational efficiency.
- Headquartered in Basel, Lyfegen operates across Europe, North America, and the Middle East. The startup serves over 50 leading healthcare organizations in eight markets, helping them streamline more than 4,000 rebate agreements.
- According to Lyfegen, its solutions track over $1 billion in pharmaceutical revenue and manage more than $0.5 billion in rebates annually

Details of the deal
- The Series A round was led by TX Ventures a Zurich-based venture capital firm that invests in European fintech, insurtech, digital assets, and proptech startups. Its ticket sizes range from $1 million to $5 million.
