Paris-based software platform Kelvin raises €5M to accelerate home energy renovations

Paris-based climate tech Kelvin, which develops an AI-based software platform designed to assist professionals in the construction and real estate industries, has raised €5 million to accelerate home energy renovations. 

  • Founded in 2023 by Clémentine Lalande, Guillaume Sempé, and Pierre Joly, Kelvin platform utilizes AI to generate studies for the energy-efficient renovation of residential buildings, aiming to optimize renovation processes and enhance sustainability in the housing sector.
  • Kelvin employs a team of 12 and partnered with tech companies, including CSTB, Nobatek, and Urbs. 

Details of the deal 

  • The funding round was led by Racine², a venture capital firm that funds founders with a positive impact on society and the environment, with investment sizes ranging between €500,000 and €3 million.
  • The funding round also saw participation from Seedcamp, Raise Capital, Kima Ventures, Motier Ventures, and several business angels in the renovation sector.
