Polish medtech startup Jutro Medical raises €12M to replace telemedicine with medical AI agents

Warsaw-based medtech startup Jutro Medical, an AI-first primary care provider integrating online and offline care, has secured €12 million in Series A funding, as Vestbee was told. The round was led by KAYA VC and RIO ASI, aiming to advance medical AI agents and replace traditional telemedicine practices.

  • Founded in 2020 by Adam Janczewski, Jutro Medical is a primary care provider powered by AI that seamlessly combines online and in-person healthcare services.
  • The company specializes in developing AI agents using its electronic health record system. These agents manage a significant portion of over 68% of teleconsultations. Their role includes collecting patient information, handling documentation, and streamlining appointment times for routine cases.
  • The startup enables doctors to concentrate more on patient care while ensuring complete medical oversight. All patient data is kept confidential and secure, as Jutro Medical develops and hosts the AI models powering these agents internally.

"We’ve been dissecting these processes and turning them into skills that we can teach AI agents, so they can handle them end-to-end, shifting all operational tasks and red tape from human to AI. We are building medical AI agents who can take over all these tasks from doctors, allowing them to finally practice medicine," founder and CEO of Jutro Medical, Adam Janczewski, commented in a press release.

  • According to Jutro Medical, the company serves 70,000 patients and has completed 400,000 visits, with an average rating of 4.93 out of 5, an NPS of 86, and a PMF score of 77%.

  • The Series A round was led by KAYA VC, a Prague-based venture capital firm managing €300 million in assets, with two unicorns in its portfolio, and RIO ASI, a Warsaw-based investment firm.

  • Jutro Medical will use the €12 million funding to further develop its AI technology and expand across Europe, focusing on the Netherlands and Poland. The funds will help improve its AI agents and open new clinics, with a plan to serve 350,000 patients within the next two years.
