UK-based startup Cybaverse, which provides managed cybersecurity solutions such as penetration testing, training, and compliance, has raised £1.1 million to enhance its cybersecurity offerings and expand its workforce.
- Founded in 2018 by Oliver Spence and Gemma Blake, Cybaverse has evolved from a boutique consultancy into a premier Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), merging expert consultancy with cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. The company delivers continuous and proactive security services designed to protect businesses against ever-evolving cyber threats.
- Cybaverse AI is designed to make cybersecurity management easier for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The platform provides a clear, comprehensive view of the cyber landscape, enhancing efficiency and improving project management while reducing the demands on in-house IT and security teams.
- The startup serves a range of notable clients, including ConnectedHealth, Crowdcube, Funding Loop, Ticknovate, OnlineDirect, and Orbus Software.
Details of the deal
- The fresh funding round received support from the FSE Group, which provides accessible market-gap funding, including loans and equity investments, to help high-growth businesses reach their growth potential. Additionally, it was backed by Stamford-based VC Haatch, which invests in pre-seed B2B SaaS startups, London-based VC Founder & Lightning, and several business angels.
