London-based climate intelligence platform Clearly, which provides fleet operators with critical trip-level emission and energy insights, has secured $4.3 million. The round was led by Pace Ventures and Nine Realms, with participation from Mobilion, Next Gear, and M1720.
- Founded in 2021 by Danielle Walsh, Clearly develops a climate intelligence platform using AI, which enables logistics operators and fleet owners to make real-time decisions to enhance operational and financial efficiency.
- The platform integrates data from various sources, including vehicle movement, operations, assets, and energy, to generate emission-related insights. These insights help operators identify effective decarbonization initiatives, facilitate financing, and realize millions in savings.
- Clearly serves prominent blue-chip companies across the US, Europe, and Asia, including Webfleet, Bridgestone’s globally trusted fleet management solution.
“By making actionable insights like these readily available, we’re able to help companies improve the way their businesses operate, highlighting strategic optionality beyond capital intensive adjustments to vehicle fleet mix, and recommend changes that can be made immediately to improve environmental and financial outcomes,” CEO of Clearly, Danielle Walsh, commented.
- The fresh funding was led by Pace Ventures, a Berlin-based venture capital fund that focuses on investing in category-defining companies enhancing planetary and human health, and Nine Realms, a Copenhagen-based venture capital firm investing in early-stage companies across Europe and the US.
"As the transport sector transitions to using greener technologies, we see the need for data-driven procurement and AI-enabled operational decision-making broadening at a fast pace. Clearly is making sustainable transportation more than just a choice for its customers, it’s making it a competitive advantage,” Partner at Pace Ventures, Marius Swart, stated.
- The fresh funding round saw participation from existing mobility investors Mobilion Ventures, Next Gear Ventures, and M1720 alongside business angels Lord Nash and Margaux Primat.
- The new funding will be utilized to enhance Clearly's current product offerings and expand its AI capabilities. Additionally, Clearly plans to expand its team.
