Vilnius-based regtech AMLYZE secures €2.35M seed round led by Practica Capital

Vilnius-based startup AMLYZE, which provides integrated RegTech solutions to help financial institutions prevent financial crime and streamline compliance with regulatory standards, has secured €2.35 million in a seed funding round led by Practica Capital, with backing from FIRSTPICK, Coinvest Capital, and NGL. The fresh funding will support AMLYZE's growth phase.

  • Founded in 2019 by Gabrielius Erikas Bilkštys, Alexandre Pinot, and Jekaterina Govina, AMLYZE provides SaaS-based RegTech solutions to combat financial crime.
  • AMLYZE provides tools for transaction monitoring, customer risk assessment, and regulatory compliance, helping clients prevent financial crime, enhance security, and protect against reputational and financial damage.

Details of the deal

  • The seed round was led by Practica Capital, a Lithuanian early-stage VC supporting Baltic founders, with over €130 million in assets under management. In February, it closed a new €80 million fund to continue investing in early-stage tech startups across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

"Our continued support for AMLYZE in their mission to enhance financial compliance through innovative technology reflects our confidence in their solution, the caliber of their team, and their long-term vision. Their solutions are not only timely but essential in today’s complex financial landscape," Founding Partner at Practica Capital, Donatas Keras, commented.

  • The investment round featured participation from FIRSTPICK, a Vilnius-based VC firm focused on Baltic tech startups across sectors like fintech, SaaS, deeptech, and consumer marketplaces. Coinvest Capital, a state VC fund, and NGL, a Lithuanian syndicate of 33 business angels, also contributed.
  • Other notable investors included Gintas Balčiūnas, CEO of Dokobit, Donatas Dailidė, CEO and Chairman of DOJUS Group, and Advanzia Bank, a European digital bank based in Luxembourg.
  • AMLYZE plans to use the investment to accelerate the development of the world's first cross-border information-sharing platform for anti-financial crime, leveraging artificial intelligence and synthetic data to expand its services to larger corporate and institutional clients.

"Securing this seed investment empowers us to fast-track our growth and broaden our reach. Our upcoming platform is set to revolutionize information sharing among financial institutions, significantly contributing to a safer and more secure financial ecosystem," CEO of AMLYZE, Gabrielius Erikas Bilkštys, stated.
