Danish startup All Gravy, an AI platform that enhances operations for frontline workers, has secured $2.9 million in funding to empower frontline workers in the UK. The investment was co-led by Scale Capital and Moonfire Ventures, as Vestbee was informed.
- All Gravy was founded in 2020 by Jonatan Mark Rasmussen and Kristian Lundager. The firm develops an AI-powered platform that helps frontline workers in industries like retail and hospitality by streamlining operations, improving communication, and supporting training.
- The platform uses AI to provide real-time assistance, guide employees in their tasks, and automate routine processes. It collects data from different areas of the business to improve decision-making and efficiency.
“Gen Z is used to TikTok, Instagram, and ChatGPT, but when they enter the workforce, they’re met with outdated pen and paper in restaurants and retail stores. We’re building tech that augments human intelligence, by developing and training it on the specific issues that arise at each individual customer and adapting to the needs of the employees," co-founder of All Gravy, Jonatan Mark Rasmussen, commented in a statement.
- Headquartered in Copenhagen, All Gravy claims to have grown over 3x in revenue in the last 12 months and is currently used in more than 1000 shops and restaurants globally.
Details of the deal
- The seed round was co-led by Scale Capital, a Copenhagen-based venture capital firm that focuses on B2B technology companies in the Nordics and Germany, investing at the seed and Series A stages with ticket sizes ranging between €1 million to €3 million, and Moonfire Ventures, a London-based VC.
“Frontline work is one of the last major industries yet to be transformed by AI. Jonatan and his team have built something that’s already making a real impact, and we believe they have the potential to define this category," claims Judith Schrader, Investor at Scale Capital.
- The investment also saw participation from prominent investors, including Alexander Aghassipour, Jeppe Rindom, and Fredrik Hjelm.
- All Gravy will use the fresh funding to accelerate its UK expansion, scale its AI platform, and enhance its product to improve productivity and decision-making for frontline workers.
