Vilnius-based startup AISPECO, which develops advanced geospatial data platforms with customizable sensors for efficient, cost-effective operations, has raised €1.45 million in funding from NGL, Innovestor, and Superhero Capital. The new funding will help AISPECO further develop its platform.
- Founded in 2020 by Rokas Adiklis and Mantas Vaskela, AISPECO manufactures advanced geospatial data collection platforms with multi-sensor payloads, combining LiDAR and hyperspectral imaging for airborne, mobile, and stationary use.
- Serving industries like surveying, forestry, and mining, AISPECO's customizable solutions help clients reduce costs, improve efficiency, and easily adapt sensor configurations.
Details of the deal
- The fresh funding was backed by NGL, a Lithuanian business angel syndicate, which made its largest investment to date, contributing €423,000.
"We have decided to back AISPECO after engaging with the team since 2022 and witnessing their consistent ability to double revenues year after year. Their client base already includes major international corporations with half of revenue generated in the 🇺🇸 and we were impressed by the company’s early use cases in the defense sector," Founder at NGL, Justinas Pasys, stated.
- Existing investors, including Helsinki-based VC Innovestor and Superhero Capital, also participated in the funding round. Innovestor, founded in 2014, has 30 professionals and over 100 portfolio companies with €400 million in capital commitments. Superhero Capital focuses on investing in Baltic and Finnish startups.
- The startup plans to use the funding to focus on high-value product development, including HELIUX FOCUS, to drive continued innovation in geospatial technology.
