London-based Evertrue Capital, founded by former Phoenix Court partner Yvonne Bajela, has raised a $17 million debut fund to invest in pre-seed AI and technology startups across the UK and Europe.
- Evertrue Capital plans to invest in at least 20 startups over the next three years, with typical initial cheque sizes of around £350,000.
- The firm will lead and co-invest in early-stage rounds, focusing on founders with deep expertise in the problems they aim to solve and the conviction to build before market consensus emerges.
- The fund has already backed seven companies, including Revion, an AI company serving the automotive sector, AI data and infrastructure firm Poindexter Labs, and fintech startup Zuba.
- The fund saw backing from Phoenix Court's Basecamp fund of funds, British Business Bank, Better Society Capital, Bootstrap 4F and Allocator One, alongside founders, operators and investors from Bajela's network.
