Ukrainian CloudAvocado raises $50k pre-seed from ZAS Ventures

Ukrainian CloudAvocado that develops a solution for AWS clients has closed a $50,000 pre-seed round from venture capital firm ZAS Ventures, the startup’s co-founder told Vestbee. 

  • Founded by Andriy Pyshchyk, Calvin Martin, and Oleksandr Tolochko in 2021, CloudAvocado is a platform for AWS workload and cost transparency in cloud expenditures. According to the startup, it helps clients save up to 70% of their current running costs.
  • ZAS Ventures is a Ukrainian venture capital firm launched in September 2023 by Andrew Zinchuk and Artem Volkhonsky. It is an industry-agnostic fund focused on investing in early-stage startups from Eastern Europe, helping their founders succeed in the US market.CloudAvocado is the second investment that ZAS Ventures has announced in 2024. Earlier this year, the fund backed Ukrainian fintech Fintellect with a $50,000 pre-seed investment, Crunchbase reports.
  • As Andriy Pyshchyk told Vestbee, the startup plans to use the fresh funding for marketing efforts and business development.
