San Francisco-based telemedicine startup Persimmon, which offers at-home aesthetic treatments and consultations through an app, has secured $5.2 million in funding. The fresh capital came from Toloka.vc, Waterline Ventures, Cadron Capital Partners, Plus, and various business angels.
- Founded in 2022 by Mark Hadfield and Matthew Bartlett, Persimmon offers an app that connects patients with doctors online. Users can choose a physician, have consultations, book procedures, and communicate with doctors from their homes.
- The platform provides access to essential cosmetic and aesthetic treatments from home, including Botox, chemical peels, hair rejuvenation, and microneedling, eliminating the need for a clinic visit.
- Persimmon serves over 20,000 paying users across US cities and has a network of more than 800 active medical professionals. Additionally, Toloka.vc reports that the startup's revenue grew six times by 2023.
