Riga-based investment platform Mintos, which offers both alternative and traditional investment opportunities for long-term investors, has raised €3.1 million from over 3,300 investors through its Crowdcube crowdfunding campaign.
- Founded in 2014 by Martins Sulte and Martins Valters, Mintos provides a user-friendly platform that allows long-term investors to grow their wealth through diversified investment options while ensuring hassle-free portfolio management.
- With offices in Riga and Berlin, the startup employs a team of 150 across 20 countries, serves 500,000 registered users, and manages €600 million in assets.
- Mintos said it raised €1 million within the first 40 minutes of its fundraising campaign and reaching €3.1 million in total, making it the second-largest campaign on Crowdcube in the EU.
- Investors from more than 55 countries participated in the crowdfunding campaign, with the largest contributions coming from Germany, Spain, and France.
- With the funds raised, Mintos plans to expand further into European Union markets, enhance its platform, and continue improving its product offerings.
