Ukrainian-founded startup Jome, which develops an AI-powered platform to simplify buying new construction homes, has raised $9.8 million in Series A funding. The fresh round brought total investments raised by the startups to $16.5 million.
- Founded in 2020 by Dan Hnatkovskyy and Sofia Vyshnevska, Jome, formerly known as NewHomesMate, simplifies finding and purchasing new construction homes through its AI-powered platform.
- The platform uses AI to aggregate hidden new construction listings, offering advanced search tools, instant tour scheduling, and unbiased expert guidance to streamline the home-buying experience.
- Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the startup reports that its AI platform aggregates 90% of new construction inventory across 16 major US cities and has assisted over 100,000 buyers since its launch in 2020.

Details of the deal
- The Series A round was led by Geek Ventures, a New York-based venture capital firm that supports immigrant entrepreneurs globally.
"Jome makes it easy to buy new construction homes directly from builders in the US. Investing in them during their pre-seed round as one of our first deals was a no-brainer, and we've loved seeing their significant growth since we first met them in 2021," Geek Ventures's team commented on LinkedIn.
- The investment saw support from u.ventures, Toloka VC, Vesna Capital, Roosh Ventures, Network VC, SID Venture Partners, Flyer One Ventures, and Forefront VP.
- The startup will use the Series A funding to expand into new markets, enhance its AI platform, and improve the home-buying experience for both buyers and builders.
