Milan-based CommerceClarity, which develops an AI platform to automate and optimize e-commerce product catalogs, has raised €2.7 million in a pre-seed round led by IFF (Koinos Capital) and Entourage to advance the infrastructure for the agentic future of e-commerce, as Vestbee was told.
- Established in 2024 by Federico Sargenti, Daniele Vella, Michele Sampieri, and Alessandro Angelini, CommerceClarity develops a composable AI operating system for e-commerce that automates and optimizes product catalog operations.
- The platform ingests raw product data from multiple sources, validates and enriches it, and transforms it into structured, machine-readable content suitable for every market and sales channel.
- Using a network of specialized AI agents orchestrated through a central intelligence layer, CommerceClarity manages catalog creation, updates, SEO optimization, and distribution, enabling retailers to maintain complete, accurate, and discoverable product assortments while reducing manual workload and accelerating time-to-market.
“CommerceClarity was born to fix a broken process that the founding team experienced first hand as e-commerce operators. As the complexity of product data keeps growing and AI agents begin influencing what people buy, e-commerce needs intelligent infrastructure to remain visible, discoverable, and competitive," said Federico Sargenti, co-founder and Co-CEO of CommerceClarity.
- The firm has offices in Milan, Rome, and London, and its system is used by over 40 retailers and brands, including Nestlé Purina, Arcaplanet, Cisalfa, 1000Farmacie, and Caddy’s, enabling operational cost reductions of up to 90%, traffic and sales increases of up to 30%, and catalog updates in hours instead of weeks.
