Ghent-based healthcare startup IntelliProve has raised €1.25 million in seed funding to advance its contactless optical technology for instant health measurement.
- Established in 2021 by Joeri Tulkens, Tanguy Sanglet, Brecht Dhuyvetters, and Maxime Mattelin, IntelliProve develops software that uses optical facial measurements to determine physiological and mental health parameters.
- The technology captures a 20-second video of a user's face, applies AI and signal processing to analyze blood flow and other vital indicators, and provides real-time, clinically validated biomarker data for integration into healthcare platforms and applications.

- The startup serves clients including BloomUp, OptimallyMe, Health Blocks, Helan, and Neutraal Ziekenfonds Vlaanderen, and operates in Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, and Denmark.
Details of the deal
- The seed funding saw support from Ghent-based VC Miles Ahead, and several business angels.

- IntelliProve will use the funds to refine its health assessment technology and expand across Europe, enhancing its accessibility and user experience.
- The investment will also support team growth and partnerships to accelerate adoption in digital health, corporate well-being, and health insurance sectors.
