Tbilisi-based adtech startup KLIPY has raised $3.8 million from Google’s AI Futures Fund, I2BF Global Ventures, Silvercircle VC, Sturgeon Capital, Red Swan Ventures, Intuition Ventures, Yash Patel of Capra Ventures, and former NBA champion Zaza Pachulia, as Vestbee was informed.
- Founded in 2021 by Givi Beridze and Waska Chaduneli, the company builds an enterprise API platform that enables applications to integrate, manage, and monetize expressive media such as GIFs, stickers, memes, short clips, and AI-generated content.
- Its infrastructure provides access to a library of more than 15 million animated assets and powers real-time visual communication across messaging, social, dating, keyboard, and creative apps.
- KLIPY’s API layer processes billions of requests weekly and is used by around 10,000 developers and 40,000 creators. It combines content search, delivery, and generation with embedded monetization tools, including contextual advertising, allowing partner apps to generate revenue from expressive media usage at scale.
- The startup previously secured $1.2 million in a 2025 seed round led by Sturgeon Capital and Caucasus Ventures to support international expansion and onboarding of new partners.
Details of the deal
- Following the latest funding, KLIPY plans to expand its engineering and product teams, deepen platform integrations, and develop additional tools for creating and monetizing AI-driven expressive content.
