Every month, Vestbee compiles a list of the most significant financial rounds closed in Central and Eastern Europe and the broader European region. Helsing, €450M in a Series C

German Helsing is an AI defense firm specializing in the creation of military solutions and components. The company has secured €450 million in a Series C funding round led by General Catalyst. The investment will be directed toward product development and R&D, with a particular emphasis on securing European sovereignty, including protecting the NATO Eastern Flank.

Flo Health, €183.3M in a Series C

InSpacePropulsion Technologies (ISPTech), a spin-off from the Institute of Space Propulsion at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), has raised €2 million in a pre-seed funding round in July. The startup aims to enhance its propulsion technology to meet customer demands and achieve space flight qualification. ISPTech plans to have its technology deployed on its first flight by the end of 2025.

London-based renewable energy manufacturing startup TaiSan, which develops sustainable and low-cost battery energy storage solutions, has secured €1.5 million in a pre-seed funding round. The investment will enable the company to accelerate the development of its battery-electric vehicle (BEV) technology.
