Vestbee has compiled an extended list of venture capital funds launched in the third quarter of 2025. The collection encompasses VCs originating from the CEE region, which invest regionally and in the broader European startup ecosystem, as well as firms headquartered in European countries.
New VC funds from CEE
- Czech Aspire11 has launched its inaugural €500 million pension-backed fund. It will invest directly in VC investors and growth companies, Series B and later, or via secondaries, with ticket sizes ranging from €10 million to €30 million.
- Ukrainian Flyer One Ventures has raised a €50 million Fund V, supported by the IFC and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The new fund will invest in early-stage tech companies in Ukraine and the CEE.
- vastpoint, a new VC firm set up to back Polish tech talent, has raised $22 million for its debut fund. It will focus on AI, B2B SaaS, and healthtech, investing between €500,000 and €750,000 in seed-stage startups.
- Riga- and Stockholm-based venture capital firm Outlast Fund has announced the close of its first fund at €21 million to invest in pre-seed and seed-stage startups across the Baltic and Nordic regions.
- Darkstar has made the first €15 million close of its pan-European defence fund. It targets investments in combat-proven technologies and teams actively supporting Ukraine's defence and accelerating Europe's rearmament.
- Ukrainian VC fund D3 has raised $5 million from The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO). It will invest in defence tech innovation, including drones, sensors, demining tools, and AI solutions, in Ukraine and Europe.
New VC funds from Europe
- French early-stage venture capital firm Ventech has closed its €175 million fund, Ventech Capital VI. It aims to support around 35 European startups, with half of the capital dedicated to AI-driven applications.
- Madrid-based VC firm Nzyme, backed by Kibo Ventures, has closed a €160 million fund to invest in established Spanish SMEs, driving growth through consolidation, digital transformation, and international expansion.
- Dutch VC firm SHIFT Invest has raised €92 million in the first close of its fourth fund. With the SHIFT Invest IV fund, the goal is to invest up to €150 million in early-stage startups and scale-ups across the Netherlands and Northwestern Europe.
- Milan-based VC firm Italian Founders Fund has closed a €90 million fund to invest in Italian seed and pre-seed startups, focusing on supporting the country’s emerging talent and digital innovation.
- Danish firm Delphinus Venture Capital has launched an €80 million fund to support research-focused startups from pre-seed to scaleup with long-term, flexible investment.
- German venture capital firm Vireo Ventures has closed its Electrification Fund I at €50 million. It will invest in European early-stage founders driving an all-electrified future.
- Alliance VC has made the first close of Alliance Nordic III, securing €40 million toward its €100 million target. The fund will support early-stage startups across the Nordic region.
- Leipzig-based VC firm SIVentures, formerly Smart Infrastructure Ventures, has launched a €30 million Fund II to invest in pre-seed and seed-stage B2B startups from the DACH region.
- Berlin-based VC firm Auxxo, which invests solely in female-founded startups, has announced the first close of its Female Catalyst Fund II, raising €26 million. It plans to support 30 early-stage startups in Europe.
- French healthtech venture studio M2care, which co-founds and finances early-stage healthcare startups from idea to market, has raised €26 million. It plans to create and develop eight new innovative healthcare projects.
- London’s Araya Ventures has secured $26.3 million in the final close of its oversubscribed Super Angel Fund. It aims to invest £150,000-450,000 in around 60 UK B2B SaaS and consumer startups at the pre-seed and seed stages.
- Copenhagen-based VC firm BlackWood Ventures has closed its $25 million debut fund, aiming to support 30 early-stage European startups from pre-seed to seed stages.
