Ukrainian defence tech investment platform Resist.UA has launched Resist 2.0, a new European fund targeting up to €50 million in capital commitments to support companies developing defence and dual-use technologies based on battlefield experience, as Vestbee was told.
- Established in Estonia, the new fund will connect international investors with Ukraine’s defence technology ecosystem, backing Ukrainian and European companies with Ukrainian roots developing solutions shaped by frontline requirements and tested in combat environments.
- Founded in 2023, Resist.UA invests in early-stage military technology startups, combining venture capital with operational support to help companies scale beyond the prototype stage. Its first fund, backed by Ukrainian capital, built a portfolio valued at over $10 million and engaged with over 100 defence tech teams.
- Publicly disclosed portfolio companies include Farsight Vision and M-FLY, while other investments remain undisclosed for security reasons.
- The launch comes amid rising global interest in defence technology, with investors increasingly looking for solutions validated in real-world conditions. Resist 2.0 will focus on founders building companies across defence and dual-use sectors, supporting growth, manufacturing expansion, and international scaling.
“Over the past two years, Ukrainian defence tech companies have attracted more than $500 million in private investment, reflecting growing international interest in the sector and its long-term potential. We see Ukrainian defence tech not only as a wartime necessity, but as an emerging industry being built in real time under the most challenging conditions,” said Roman Sulzhyk, Founding Partner of Resist.UA.
