Paris-based firm Qevlar AI, which automates SOC investigations to uncover root threats, has raised $30 million in a round led by Partech and Forgepoint Capital International, with participation from EQT Ventures.
- Established in 2023 by Ahmed Achchak and Hamza Sayah, Qevlar AI develops an autonomous Security Operations Center (SOC) platform that automates and accelerates threat investigations. The system collects and analyzes thousands of alerts from enterprise networks and managed security service providers, enriching the data and identifying patterns to uncover underlying security issues.
- Its AI-driven engine delivers a 10× reduction in investigation time, down to around three minutes, while ensuring every alert is examined with full context. By turning individual alert analyses into broader security insights, the platform allows SOC teams to detect vulnerabilities, prioritize critical incidents, and implement measures that prevent recurring threats.
"We’re moving from autonomous alert investigations to an intelligent AI SOC platform that uncovers insights that transform how teams not only deal with alerts, but stop them from recurring. We’re putting out the fire and finding out what started it to make sure it doesn’t happen again," explains Ahmed Achchak, co-founder and CEO of Qevlar AI.
- Clients include global enterprises such as Mercedes-Benz and Sodexo, and MSSPs like Orange Cyberdefense, ECI, and Atos, reflecting the platform’s scalability and adoption across diverse, high-volume security environments.
Details of the deal
- Qevlar AI will use the $30 million to expand its autonomous AI SOC platform, enabling security teams to turn investigations into actionable insights. The investment will fund development of tools that analyze alert patterns, uncover root causes, and guide proactive measures, helping organizations strengthen defenses, reduce recurring threats, and optimize response efficiency across global operations.
“Qevlar AI stands out as a company with the potential to be genuinely transformative; rather than just allow SOCs to process alerts faster, it is giving them the power to tackle the underlying issues. The company’s success to date highlights just how much the market needs this approach," claims Reza Malekzadeh, General Partner at Partech.
