Danish startup Interhuman AI, which helps AI interpret and respond to human non-verbal cues, has raised €2 million in a pre-seed round led by PSV Tech to advance human-centered AI interactions.
- Established in 2023 by Frederik Sally, Line Clemmensen, and Paula Petcu, Interhuman AI is a Copenhagen-based startup developing a social intelligence layer for AI systems.
- The company’s technology enables AI to interpret non-verbal human communication, including facial expressions, body language, and voice tonality, in real time.
- By combining computer vision, audio analysis, and behavioral science, the system translates human cues into data that AI can use to adjust its responses during interactions.
- The platform is designed to integrate with any AI system, allowing applications in areas such as training, digital health, sales, and customer service.
Details of the deal
- The €2 million pre-seed round was led by PSV Tech, a Nordic VC fund focused on backing early-stage deep tech and AI startups.
- Other participants included EIFO, supporting Danish companies globally; Yope Foundation, investing in tech-driven solutions; Antler, a global early-stage investor; and Ada Ventures, a UK firm backing high-potential tech founders.
