Cybersecurity startup Aikido Security acquires OutKept and Cyberly

Belgian cybersecurity company Aikido Security, which develops tools for application, code, cloud, and runtime security, has launched Noon, a workforce security business following its September 2026 acquisitions of Belgian startup OutKept and Poland-based Cyberly, as Vestbee was informed.

About OutKept

  • Founded in 2020 by Simon Bauwens and Thibaut De Maerteleire, OutKept developed a phishing simulation and security awareness platform. Before the acquisition, it served more than 1,000 organizations and 250,000 users across over 100 countries.
  • In 2024, OutKept raised a €500,000 seed round, with €250,000 from Czech VC firm Presto Ventures and the remainder from business angels associated with BAN Flanders. The funding was intended to support the startup's international expansion.

About Cyberly

  • Founded in 2024, Poland-based Cyberly developed AI-driven attack simulations and tools for tracking AI usage. Before the acquisition, it protected more than 300,000 employees across over 200 organizations.

Details of the acquisition

  • Noon combines email protection, device security, phishing simulations and employee training with tools for monitoring AI usage across organizations. The platform is designed to help companies address phishing, deepfakes, and other social engineering attacks.
  • It integrates with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack and Microsoft Teams. Its campaign and training data can support compliance and audit requirements under frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, HIPAA and GDPR.
  • OutKept co-founders Simon Bauwens and Thibaut De Maerteleire will lead global managed service provider partnerships and email security development at Noon. Cyberly's four co-founders will also continue working on the platform.
