Antwerp's AI-powered data platform Wobby secures €1.1M seed round

Antwerp-based AI platform Wobby, which helps professionals access, visualize, and interact with public and private data for actionable insights, has secured €1.1 million in seed funding from Shaping Impact Group, V-Ventures, and imec.istart. The proceeds will support the startup's expansion into European markets.

  • Founded in 2023 by Amra Dorjbayar and Nathan Tetroashvili, Wobby develops an AI-driven platform designed to simplify how professionals access, interact with, and utilize data. The startup enables users to connect public and private data sources in one workspace, making it easy to find, analyze, and visualize information.
  • The platform's interactive features, including a chat interface for data queries, allow users to quickly generate visualizations and reports, turning complex data into actionable insights in a fraction of the time. According to Wobby, its solution reduces desk research time by up to 75%, making it four times faster to gather insights and make informed decisions.
  • The company serves clients such as Roularta Media Group, Belga News Agency, Zimmo, Becom, Foodservice Alliance, and even the US. Department of Commerce.

"Knowledge workers today face an overload of information and scattered tools. We built Wobby to change that — a single platform where reliable information and actionable insights come together. Our mission is simple: help professionals turn scattered information into insights — faster, easier, and with less stress," co-founder and CEO at Wobby, Amra Dorjbayar, stated on LinkedIn.
