Notable funding rounds across Europe:
- Austrian CMS developer Storyblok has secured $80 million in a Series C round led by Brighton Park Capital, with participation from existing investors.
- Swiss Neural Concept, a provider of deep learning software for 3D product design of machines at Airbus, Bosch, General Electric, and F1, has raised a $27 million.
- UK iCOMAT, a producer of composites for the aerospace, automotive, and defence sectors, has raised $22.5 million in a round co-led by NATO Innovation Fund.
- Hamburg-based company Plancraft has closed a €12 million Series A round led by Creandum, with participation from Bitstone Capital and High-Tech Gründerfonds.
- German B2B robotics startup coboworx has secured €11.4 million to expend its team and open an office in Munich later this year.
- Amsterdam-based HRtech Carv has raised $10 million from Global Founders Capital (GFC) and several angel investors.
- French SaaS startup Dealt has raised €6 million in a round led by La Poste Ventures and GO Capital alongside One Green and Holnest.
- French renewable energy startup Decade Energy has raised €3.6 million in seed funding to speed the fleet's carbon reduction in logistics.
- Oslo-based 3D model creation tech provider Sloyd has secured €3 million in seed funding. The investment came from a16x Games Speedrun, Antler, Skyfall Ventures, FreshFund, Acecap Finance, Hartmann Capital, and Autodesk.
- UK sign language translation software startup Signapse has raised £2 million in seed funding led by Czech fund Soulmates Ventures and Irish Deeptech Seed Fund.
- German startup SmartLoC, which offers full supply-chain visibility solutions, has raised €1.8 million in a seed round led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF).
- Amsterdam-based fintech startup Prêts has raised €1 million. Investors include Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland, Rubio Impact Ventures, and Rockstart.
CEE startup funding rounds & acquisitions:
- SensusQ, an Estonian defence tech startup, has raised €3.8 million from US-based New North Ventures.
- Lithuanian data tech Spike has raised $3.5 million co-led by Practica Capital and TheVentureCity. APX, Geek Ventures, and Plug & Play Ventures also joined.
- Tallinn-based AI-powered analytics platform heybooster has secured €770,000 from Ak Asset Management, StartersHub Ventures, Lima Ventures, and LEAP Investment.
- Latvian provider of fleet management services, Mapon, has announced its expansion to Lithuania by acquiring Trackon, a local fleet management company.
New venture capital funds and VCs’ news:
- Creandum has closed a €500 million fund to invest in seed and early-stage startups across Europe. The new fund, Creandum VII, has received contributions from 30 global LPs, with over half of the capital originating from investors based in the US.
- Dreamcraft Ventures has closed a €66 million fund to invest in B2B software startups across the Nordic and DACH region.
- Danish venture capital fund BlackWood Ventures has closed its debut fund, BlackWood Ventures Fund I, raising a total of €14.7 million. It will further invest in early-stage startups across Europe.
