New VC Funds

A new fund-of-funds equation comes out of stealth. The firm will back emerging micro VC and blue-chip funds.
German deep tech VC eCAPITAL hits the first €100M closing of its 5th fund. The firm will invest in early to growth stage companies across Germany and globally.
German sustainability investor, Green Generation Fund, announces a €100M early-stage fund. The firm will primarily work across greentech and foodtech in Europe and the US.
NY’s Symbolic Capital raises a $50M web3 fund. The firm will primarily fund consumer-facing dApps and consider opportunities from all over the globe.

Software development company HTEC Group buys out Mistral Technologies to expand the firm’s geographic and sector reach. The size of the transaction remains undisclosed.
Bulgarian telehealth startup Healee takes a $2M seed round to invest in product and US expansion. The round was led by Nina Capital, Calm/Storm Ventures, Kaya VC, and Eleven Ventures.
Lithuanian customer referral/loyalty platform Boomio raises €550k to further develop the company’s product. The round was led by Lighthouse Ventures and several business angels.

Global VC Accel opens applications for 2022 SaaS Euroscape. The applications will be open for European and Israeli companies until the 16th of September.
Ukrainian Health Hackathon opens applications for the healthtech challenge. The competition winners will receive a little over $1k in cash prizes and a chance to get mentorship for their startup. Registration for the hackathon is open till the 16th of September.
The first fintech forum in Latvia opens registrations for the event. The event participants will have the chance to learn about the local fintech scene's particularities and network with potential partners/investors. The event will take place on the 13th of September.
