The startup aims to enhance engineers' productivity by automating application testing, providing rapid feedback, minimizing bugs, enhancing quality, and expediting time to market.
- Stockholm-based QA.tech employs a team of 11 and offers its SaaS subscription services to around 40 firms, including Leya, Upsales, Virtusize, and Shoplab.
- In 2023, QA.tech raised $1 million in a pre-seed round to launch its beta program and expand its developer team. The investment was backed by byFounders and various angel investors.
Details of the deal
- The funding round was led by PROfounders, a British venture capital firm specializing in investing in European tech startups, with ticket sizes ranging between €1 million and €3 million.
- Amsterdam-based Curiosity VC, Danish VC byFounders and several angel investors, including Jon Aslund, one of the first developers at Spotify, and Jens Saltin, former UK country manager at Klarna, also joined the round.
“We have been making huge strides in our product development, but our ambition for this product has also been growing, which is why we are raising more capital just six months after our pre-seed. It’s great to welcome these impressive investors who see the same incredible potential in the product as we do,” CEO of QA.tech, Daniel Mauno Pettersson, commented.
- The funding will help QA.tech expand its team and enhance its product offerings.
