Stafford-based startup Strolll raises €12.2M Series A for its neuro-rehab software

Stafford-based startup Strolll, which creates AR-based therapy software for neurological mobility, has raised €12.2 million in a Series A funding round led by IW Capital to advance its platform.

  • Founded in 2019 by Tom Finn and Jorgen Ellis, Strolll develops digital therapeutics software for augmented reality (AR) glasses, designed to improve movement therapy for individuals with neurological disorders like Parkinson's disease, stroke, and Multiple Sclerosis.
  • The software offers immersive rehabilitation in real-world settings, usable in both clinics and at home. It provides objective data and remote monitoring, allowing therapists to track progress and adjust treatments, improving mobility and personalizing care.

Details of the deal

  • The funding round was led by IW Capital, a London-based private equity firm that connects high-net-worth individuals and institutions with investment opportunities in growing UK SMEs.

"Strolll is transforming the physiotherapy and neurorehabilitation markets and have already helped a significant number of people with debilitating neurological disorders to live better lives," claims Isobel Egemole, IW Capital's investment director.

  • Strolll will use the new funds to accelerate sales and marketing efforts, enhance its product development, and expand its regulatory label to target additional neurological disorders, broadening its impact in the neurorehabilitation market.

"This investment will help us scale our digital therapeutics platform, bringing innovative solutions to more people living with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions," Strolll's team, commented on LinkedIn.
