Polish-founded AI math tutor Stimy AI, which analyzes handwritten problems and provides instant feedback with personalized guidance, has secured $337,000 in a pre-seed funding round to expand globally and enhance its AI capabilities. The funding was backed by Simpact Ventures and AIP Seed.
- Established in 2023 by Mark Zollner and Wojciech Drezek, Stimy AI develops a math tutoring platform tailored for students aged 10-18, offering instant feedback on handwritten math problems.
- The AI-based platform analyzes each step of a student's work, offering personalized guidance and accurate solutions in algebra, calculus, and arithmetic. Available 24/7 through a math chatbot and engaging puzzles, Stimy creates a stress-free, self-paced learning experience, delivering free, high-quality math support anytime.
Details of the deal
- The new investment was backed by AIP Seed, a Warsaw-based venture capital firm that supports tech startups across the CEE region. To date, AIP Seed has made more than 110 investments in 17 startups, with 4 exits, including Callpage, Langlion, and Soti.

- The fresh round also saw participation from Simpact Ventures, a Warsaw-based venture capital firm investing in tech startups across Central and Eastern Europe. Simpact Ventures has invested in more than 30 startups to date, including The Linghos, Nutrix, Prosoma Digital Healthcare, and MyEgg.
