Paris-based AI-driven RFP platform Steerlab, which automates and improves responses to RFPs and security questionnaires while offering insights to boost win rates, has secured €1.7 million in a pre-seed round led by Dreamcraft VC, with participation from Heartfelt_, Lumière AI Ventures, and over 20 angel investors.
- Founded in 2023 by Rami Iguerwane and Othmane Hamzaoui, Steerlab uses AI to streamline and enhance RFP and Security Questionnaire responses. It automates and improves response quality while providing insights to boost win rates.
"By leveraging fine-tuned language models and Multi-Modal agentic AI systems, we provide factual answers, elevate writing quality, and deliver actionnable insights that significantly increase win rates," Co-founder and CTO of Steerlab, Othmane Hamzaoui, commented.
- The startup claims to save 85% of the time, reduce review cycles by 65%, and improve win rates by 32%. It is trusted by teams at several notable firms, including Mantra, Stonly, Gladia, and Fitnet Manager.
Details of the deal
- The fresh funding was led by Dreamcraft VC, a Copenhagen-based venture capital firm that invests in tech startups across Europe, from pre-seed to Series A. In June, the firm launched a €66 million fund to invest in B2B software startups across the Nordic and DACH regions.

- The fresh capital will enable Steerlab to intensify its international strategy, to position the company as the global leader in its field.
