Londonʼs startup Stackfix secures $3M to build the software comparison platform

London-based software comparison platform Stackfix, which helps businesses compare and choose software by providing real-time data on pricing, features, and performance, has secured $3 million in seed funding. The funding round was led by Chalfen Ventures, with participation from Seedcamp and helloworld.

  • Founded in 2023 by Paddy Stobbs and Camin McCluskey, Stackfix develops an AI-powered platform that helps businesses compare software.
  •  The platform collects real-time data on pricing, features, and performance, enabling businesses to make more informed software choices.
  • During its private beta phase, Stackfix was adopted by companies like ElevenLabs and Synthesia, which collectively spent over $500,000 through the platform.

Details of the deal

  • The seed funding round was led by Chalfen Ventures, founded by Mike Chalfen, which focuses on investing in software-driven businesses. The firm has previously backed unicorns like Illumio, Snyk, and Tipalti.

“The Stackfix team is addressing a huge opportunity. Software is exploding. Every business wants to buy more tools, but does not have the time or information to choose the best products for them.  I am proud to support them in building the go-to marketplace for B2B software," General Partner at Chalfen Ventures, Mike Chalfen, commented in a press release.

  • Seedcamp, an early-stage fund supporting tech startups, and Detroit-based VC helloworld also participated, along with notable angel investors such as Paul Forster, Mehdi Ghissassi, Matt Clifford, Alice Bentinck, and Charlie Delingpole.
  • Stackfix plans to use the $3 million in seed funding to advance its AI capabilities and expand its software comparison platform globally.

"Stackfix is changing that with an AI-powered, real-time solution that makes software buying faster, simpler, and more accurate. We’re thrilled to have the backing of such incredible investors as we work to build the ultimate software comparison platform," Explains Paddy Stobbs, co-founder and CEO of Stackfix.
