An Ostrava-based company SprayVision that provides digitalization, automation, simulation, and analysis of spray patterns has raised €2 million in a Series A funding round co-led by US Momenta Ventures and Czech J&T Ventures.
- SrayVision was founded in 2019 by Petr Jahn and Vojtěch Roul. The startup develops intelligent coating solutions that enable process control and optimization of paint lines, providing them with optimal parameter settings, process control, and wet paint thickness measurement.
The investment came from two VCs:
- Momenta Ventures was founded in 2012. This VC firm invests in startups in the areas of industrial and digital transformation, with more than 50 companies in its portfolio across Europe and North America.
“We are excited to partner with Momenta, a venture capital investor that deeply understands our industrial customers and their pain points. We look forward to their practical support as we expand into North America and fully penetrate the European automotive market,” said Petr Jahn, CEO of SprayVision.
- J&T Ventures was founded in 2014. It is an early-stage VC firm that invests in B2B, SaaS, and sector-agnostic companies in the CEE and SEE regions, with an initial ticket size of €500,000 to €2.5 million.
With the fresh €2 million investment, SprayVision will be able to expand and innovate more quickly, thus strengthening its position in the digital transformation of coating processes.
