Helsinki's Serviceform raises €2.45M to expand its marketing suite for SMEs in Europe

Helsinki-based startup Serviceform, which helps businesses generate and manage qualified leads through website engagement tools, has raised €2.45 million, as Vestbee was informed. The proceeds will allow the company to strengthen its position in the automotive and real estate sectors while exploring new opportunities in other verticals.

  • Founded in 2017 by Jarkko Oksanen and Iranthi Gomes, Serviceform develops software to help businesses generate, manage, and support leads through customizable website engagement tools.
  • The platform streamlines workflows with apps like Chatbots, Live Chat, WhatsApp Campaigns, CRM, and more. With over 100 integrations, businesses can customize Serviceform to meet their needs, consolidating multiple tools into one platform.
  • Serviceform has a team of 50 across five countries: Finland, Spain, Sweden, Sri Lanka, and the UK. With over 2,000 clients, including brands like Notar, Hyundai, Renault, and Vitec, the platform is widely used in the real estate and brokerage sectors.
  • According to the startup, its platform is active on over 4,000 websites across 25 countries, reaching 22 million people daily and helping businesses optimize lead generation and customer management.

Details of the deal 

  • The funding round was led by Virta Equity, a Helsinki-based venture capital firm that supports small and medium-sized companies with investment tickets ranging from €3 million to €20 million.

"When getting familiar with the company and what Serviceform is offering to the customers, we had full trust of having a winning concept in our hands. The made investment gives a great opportunity to scale and after all, to give more additional value for the customers,” Claims Marko Möttönen, Partner at Virta Equity.

  • The investment also saw participation from Stockholm-based VC BackingMinds, Gorilla Capital, a Helsinki-based firm investing in startups using technology to address real business challenges, and entrepreneur and angel investor Lasse Järvinen.

  • The startup will use the funds to expand its technology into new industries, scale its commercial engine, strengthen its position as a leader in marketing within the automotive and real estate sectors, and explore M&A opportunities.
  • Additionally, the funding will support forging partnerships and resellers to drive growth and further commercial efforts.
