Czech RobosizeME has secured a seed funding from BrightCap Ventures, marking the fund's first investment from the €60 million Fund II. The round also saw participation from Botanique Hospitality Management Group and prominent Czech angel investors.
- Founded in 2022 by Stephen Burke, Linda Girrbach, and Ivo Brabec, RobosizeME utilizes extensive industry knowledge and technical expertise to assist hotel chains and large hospitality management companies in enhancing operational efficiencies across all hotel operations.
- RobosizeME’s platform provides solutions to streamline operations across diverse areas including front-of-house, Back of House, Reservations, Revenue Management, Distribution, Meetings & Events, and Finance.
- With offices in Czechia and the US, the startup's "digital workers" have been serving several reputable hotel chains and management companies, including Kempinski Hotels and Resorts, Louvre Hotels Group, Global Hotel Alliance, Design Hotels, Dorchester Collection, H World Hotels, MCR Hotels, and Story Hospitality.
Details of the deal
- The round was led by BrightCap Ventures, a Sofia-based early-stage venture capital firm that invests in startups with a focus on AI, Big Data, medical technology, blockchain, and financial sector technologies. Recently, BrightCap completed the first close of its new fund, BrightCap II, which targets €60 million to invest in founders from SEE.
- Botanique Hospitality Management Group, which owns Botanique Hotel Prague and other hotels in Indonesia, along with prominent Czech angel investors, also participated in the round.
- With the seed round funding, RobosizeME plans to further develop its offerings and secure agreements with 6,000 hotels within the next 18 months.
