Warsaw-based platform Gotiva has raised €1.11 million in a seed funding round led by SMOK Ventures Fund II. Movens Capital, together with Anton Gauffin, founder of Huuuge, participated.

  • Founded in 2021 and led by Sebastian Szczygiel, formerly co-founder of Huuuge Games, Gotiva is a technology company that develops entertainment apps that empower digital content creators to distribute and monetize their content worldwide.
  • Currently, it has launched Jigsaw Puzzle Universe, an app that allows visual content creators to earn from user engagement in the form of jigsaw puzzles. The platform accepts content from all creators, including digital illustrators, photographers, and AI-content creators. To date, more than 200 artists from over 40 countries already cooperate with Gotive. Top of them have already earned several thousand dollars in annual revenue, Tech.eu writes. The launch of the second app called Coloria is planned for 2024.

Our overarching goal is to establish a unified platform where creators can seamlessly participate in content distribution across various supported apps. We prioritise quality over quantity, envisioning the creation of the largest community of top-tier content creators. - Sebastian Szczygiel, CEO at Gotiva, says.

  • The fresh round brings Gotiva's total funding to €1.91 million, including a previously unannounced pre-seed round with contributions from Eric Seufert's Heracles Capital and 18 international angel investors from the mobile, gaming, and ad-tech industries.
