Tallinn-based fintech startup Pointship develops platforms that enable users to manage and exchange digital assets. The company has raised $1.9 million to fuel its global expansion, with a follow-on investment from Startup Wise Guys.
- Launched in 2020 by Merter Unsal, Pointship develops a digital asset marketplace that allows users to manage, exchange, and utilize assets like loyalty rewards, game credits, and event tickets.
- The company offers two main products: Pointship, a platform for exchanging travel-related digital assets, and Gameship, a secure ecosystem for managing gaming assets.
- With over 100,000 active users and rapid growth in Turkey, the firm plans to transform digital assets into NFTs and enable their exchange with tokens.
"We are changing the rules of the digital asset management with the help of the new solutions that solve the main issues, such as the security of digital assets, their depreciation, and the ineffective use of the assets," Pointship's team, commented on LinkedIn.
Details of the deal
- The round was supported by prominent investors from Turkey, Dubai, and London, including a follow-on investment from Startup Wise Guys, one of the most active European accelerators for B2B startups. The startup was part of the Fintech 2022 Batch.
