Belgium-based data reliability and observability platform, Timeseer.AI, which is designed to tackle the challenges of OT/IoT data quality, has secured investment from OTB Ventures and the startup's existing investors. The amount of the deal is undisclosed.
- Headquartered in Hasselt, Timeseer.AI was founded in 2020 with a mission to revolutionize data management. The startup offers a DataOps platform designed to automate data orchestration and deliver on-demand data to its users. By enhancing data quality and observability, Timeseer.AI ensures that data teams can rely on accurate and actionable analytics. Currently, its innovative solution is trusted by data teams at over 5,000 companies.
- In 2022, Timeseer.AI raised a $6 million seed funding led by Crane Venture Partners, with participation from Smartfin Capital, Fortino Capital, LRM, and Innovation Fund.
- The latest funding round for Timeseer.AI, which included participation from existing investors, also welcomed OTB Ventures as a new investor. In March, this VC closed its second $185 million deeptech fund, the largest to be raised in Central and Eastern Europe, having NATO Innovation Fund among the LPs.
“Low quality of IoT/OT data is a primary bottleneck in the widespread adoption of AI models in industrial settings. Timeseer's vertical-agnostic software can automatically address this issue on a large scale across multiple industries. This complex problem could only be tackled by industrial data ops veterans such as Bert Baeck and the rest of Timeseer’s founding team," Partner at OTB Ventures, Mateusz Lukasik, commented on LinkedIn.
- The fresh investment will enable Timeseer.AI to further develop and advance its product.
