Ghent-based hospitality management platform Otamiser has secured $3 million in funding to support its global expansion. The round was backed by Pitchdrive VC and various angel investors.
- Founded in 2022 by Bart-Jan Leyts and Korneel Defauw, Otamiser develops an AI-powered management platform designed for the hospitality industry. Its platform integrates hotel revenue management with OTA ranking optimization, ensuring that hotels consistently achieve higher rankings on major online travel agencies such as Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, and Trivago.
- The startup's new platform, Autorank, streamlines operations for vacation rental property owners and managers, improving their Airbnb rankings and efficiency.
- Otamiser reports a 24% revenue increase for clients, with properties using its Booster seeing an additional 10,000 reservations. Additionally, the company handles 50,000 reservations weekly, underscoring its significant impact in the hospitality sector, as it shared.

- The funding round was spearheaded by Pitchdrive, with representation from Wim Derkinderen, Boris Bogaert, and Koen Christiaens. Pitchdrive is an Antwerp-based venture capital firm known for its substantial portfolio of 63 investments and 48 startups, which includes successful exits such as Contractify, Gruup, and RiftPay.

- Various angel investors joined the round, including Stijn Christiaens, co-founder of Collibra; Jacob Quartier, former Director of Finance and Operations at Showpad; Peter van Praet, founder of Bavet; Viktor De Martealere from the Hospitality House hotel chain; Lorenz Bogaert, serial founder of Netlog and StarApps; the founders behind the Henchman project, Jorn Vanysacker and Gilles Mattelin; and Anthony and Gregory De Clerck from Dovesco.
- With the fresh funding, Otamiser plans to launch an AI tool for Airbnb operators, expand its commercial team, scale the algorithm across 100,000 properties, and increase weekly reservations to 500,000 within two years.
