OASYS NOW won Slush 100 competition and secured €1M from General Catalyst and Cherry Ventures

Delft-based medtech OASYS NOW has won the infamous Slush 100 competition. The startup was awarded a €1 million equity investment from two leading early-stage funds in Europe, General Catalyst and Cherry Ventures.

  • Founded in 2021 by Nima Salami and  Sara Okhuijsen, OASYS NOW develops an AI-powered patient recruitment platform for clinical trials. The platform initially focused on cardiology, rare diseases, and multiple chronic conditions. It has since expanded its scope to include brain-related diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Dementia, as well as immunology.
  • OASYS NOW platform offers two key products: the GRIP app, which provides users with personalized health insights and connects them to relevant clinical trials, and the ELaiGIBLE platform, designed for hospitals and clinics to accelerate the identification of eligible patient cohorts for clinical trials, reducing the process from months to minutes.
  • The startup secured a €1 million equity investment from Cherry Ventures, marking their first partnership with Slusg this year, along with General Catalyst, a returning partner since 2022.
  • The funds will be used to expand the team, particularly by hiring engineers and salespeople, and to invest in the computing infrastructure needed to support the platform’s growth.
