Berlin-based healthtech startup Noah Labs, which develops AI-based software to improve diagnosis, condition management, and medical interventions, has secured €3 million in equity and grant funding in a round led by Nina Capital, with participation from adesso ventures, the DHZB Foundation, and several business angels. The grant was awarded by the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB) for Noah Labs' cutting-edge research.

  • Founded in 2021 by Oliver Weiss, Marcus Hott, and Dr. Leonhard Riehle, Noah Labs develops AI-driven solutions to enhance patient care and medical research.
  • Noah Labs' AI-powered software, Noah Labs Ark™, tracks and analyzes patient health remotely, helping doctors make better diagnoses and improve treatment.
  • The company offers two products, including:
  1. Noah Labs Ark™ for Cardiologists, a platform for providing safe, guideline-compliant care and enabling reimbursement for telemonitoring cardiovascular patients.
  2.   Noah Labs Ark™ for General Practitioners, a connected care platform that supports safe, guideline-based care for comprehensive cardiovascular disease management.

Details of the deal

"The Noah Labs team is exceptionally strong, with deep connections to the medical field. Oliver brings invaluable founder experience from a previous MedTech venture. Marcus, the technical mind behind the AI-based voice analysis, has a research background at Harvard Medical School. Leonhard, with his medical expertise, has worked as a cardiovascular doctor and was previously head of medical at an RPM startup," Principal at adesso ventures, Merlin Hannemann, commented on LinkedIn.

  • With this investment, Noah Labs aims to accelerate the commercial rollout of its flagship software while also enhancing its AI research team. The company will collaborate with leading institutions like Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Mayo Clinic to advance its innovative voice-based diagnostic technology, enabling early intervention in heart failure and ultimately reducing hospitalizations.
