Zurich-based startup NetFabric.ai secures $2.2M to transform network monitoring

Zurich-based network observability platform NetFabric.ai, which enables seamless connectivity of all network data sources, has secured $2.2 million in a pre-seed funding round to revolutionize network monitoring. The investment was led by Founderful and Playfair Capital.

  • NetFabric.ai was founded in 2024 by Laurent Vanbever, Dr. Benjamin Bichsel, Dr. Tobias Bühler, Marlene Brakhane, and Boris Paskalev. The startup develops a network observability platform that assists network professionals in resolving issues faster, identifying significant alerts, anticipating future problems, and unlocking powerful AIOps capabilities.
  • The startup tackles network diversity and protocol complexity by integrating large language models (LLMs) with advanced mathematical techniques. By combining these technologies, NetFabric enhances resource allocation, reduces downtime, and ensures smooth operations for organizations. This approach effectively addresses the challenges of diverse networks and complex protocols.

Details of the deal

  • The initial funding came from Founderful, a Zurich-based venture capital firm supporting Switzerland's tech entrepreneurs, and Playfair Capital, a London-based venture capital firm investing in tech startups across Europe and the UK.
  • The capital raised will enable NetFabric.ai to further develop its next-generation network observability platform and expand its team.
